0001406: Contract Expiry showed differently
Hi,

Not sure is this a bug or it supposed to behave this way for Contract Expiry Date display?

Rgds,
nbl
Please refer to attached screenshot1, it showed expiry is 3rd Jun 2011.
Refer screenshot2, click on the contract ID, the end date for expiry is 9th Jun 2011.
Refer contract-edit-service.jpg, which is edit service, the end date was set to 10th Jun 2011.

May I know is the above the right display behaviour?

Hi,

Did you edit the dates on the service? If not can you post steps to reproduce this?

It is intended that dates on services can be diffrenet than the expiry of the contract as this is the mechanism we use to handle billing purchases as you could have multiple, it was also the intended way of handling renewals but thats incomplete.

Though:
Refer screenshot2, click on the contract ID, the end date for expiry is 9th Jun 2011.
Refer contract-edit-service.jpg, which is edit service, the end date was set to 10th Jun 2011.

Should show the same time, this looks like a bug

Added the screenshots directly to the report, easier to see than a zip file.

As Paul has said it is possible to have a different expiry date on the contract to the date on the service, if you edit the service after creating the contract. That may explain the difference between 3rd June and 10th June.

I think the reason there is 9th June and 10th of June is likely a timezone bug. There have been quite a few timezone bugs fixed in recent releases, and since this bug was originally reported as 3.62 and we're now on 3.64 I'd be interested to hear if you are still seeing the same issue?
