|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0001036: Saving translation error|
When I try to save my translation, Sit! try to save a file without the prefix, for instance i'm working on French translation and Sit! save a file .inc.php without the fr-FR.
I know it's working cause on another server everything is working well but I don't understand why it's not working on my hosted server (my production server...).
Here after the text I have after saving :
Save the text below as .inc.php and place in the /home/greed9i/public_html/assist/sit-3.50/i18n/ directory to use it. Send it to email@example.com for it to be included with future SiT! releases for the benefit of other users.
Division by zero in /home/greed9i/public_html/assist/sit-3.50/translate.php @ line 242 sit_error_handler()
Translation: 499/ = 0.00% Complete.
File saved as: /home/greed9i/public_html/assist/sit-3.50/i18n/.inc.php

I'm not sure why you'd get this error, I suspect it might be something to do with file permissions in your i18n directory.
I'll have a look at trying to reproduce it later on. In the mean time I thought I'd update this to make you aware that the French translation is now 100% complete and you can download an updated file from the wiki at http://sitracker.org/wiki/Translation [^]
Any contributions you want to make to improve this translation would be gratefully received
It's me, Guillaume Clement from France who's working on French translation! ;)
My permissions looks rights, 777, the strange thing is why translate.php try to create a file withou the prefix, i18n/.inc.php ?
ah hi Guillaume so I told you to download your own work! LOL sorry about that!!!
If it's not permissions then I guess it is a bug somewhere then, strange because I've never seen that before or heard anybody else have that issue and that page has been used quite extensively. As I say I'll try and reproduce it and work out what it might be, I'll report back here if I find anything.
I've been able to reproduce this by reducing the size of my post_max_size setting in php.ini from the default of 8M to 16K, this variable effects the maximum size of the $_POST variable PHP accepts, can you check what this is set to on your production server?
