Summary | 0001079: Feature request of switching between gray/hidden menu features when there are no rigths
Description | a request to simplify the menues has been made in the forum http://sitracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1417003 [^] right now one can only remove access to features, but they'll be grayed out from the menu. perhaps we could add an option in the config to have them either hidden/grayed out.

While I believe it's good human interface design to keep the menu consistent and not hide options that users have no rights too I can understand that some people might want to hide options completely. I think a system config option is a good idea because it satisfies both requirements depending on the particular needs of the SiT! admin. |
