Summary0001799: Create incident from incoming mail fails when the contact has special characters in his email address
DescriptionFrom a previous bug we had (http://bugs.sitracker.org/view.php?id=1044 [^]) a user can have an email address with special characters in it (!#$%&'*+-/=?^_`).

The email imports correctly now (They display correctly, but are not recognised in SiT), and when you try and "create" an incident from such an email it does not work - Nothing happens when clicking the "Create" link.

This is probable due to the fact that the Javascript link does not have the special characters escaped. The create link does the following for an email addres like this "nicdev007+apost'rophe@gmail.com":

javascript:window.opener.location='incident_add.php?action=findcontact&incomingid=13211&search_string=Bushman2&from=nicdev007+apost'rophe@gmail.com&contactid=0&win=incomingcreate'; window.close();
