I'm talking about 'Sticky' notices in particular, but I have also noticed some session notices that hang around for a long time.

Agree this would be very useful especially if its one sayning problem definition due these should vanish when the PD is done and all notices about closed incidents should go as well

I had a feeling there was a mechanism for notices to be automatically dismissed, for example as you say when PD is done. Maybe it's not ready yet or not used yet. But yeah dismissing when notices become irrelevant is just as useful as dismissing them after a period.
